This is an efficient machine for shaping all types of material such as Coral, Agate, Quartz, Shell, Fossel, glass and other materials. With the various custom and standaard wheels the peripheral shape can be made into round, oval, triangle, square, etc. with the use of a template. This also makes barrel shape beads etc. with a shaped wheel. These wheels can be custom made to make your needed shape up to 1 1/2 inches( 50mm) wide. The peripheral shapes can be made from 4mm to 60+ mm diameter. This machine will also make cabachons with the appropriate wheels from 4=mm round up to 52 X 42. These require special wheels for each size range.

BEAD MILL
FOR PRODUCTION BEAD MAKING THERE ARE SEVERAL STYLES OF BEAD MILLS. THESE DIFFER IN SIZE, METHOD, AND PRODUCTION CAPABILITY.
THE MODEL LBG-12 PICTURED ABOVE IS A BASIC UNIT OF HEAVY CONSTRUCTION FOR LONG LIFE. THE UPPER DISC AND OVERARM ARE CAST IRON WITH A FLOATING HEAD WITH ADJUSTABLE PRESSURE, HEIGHT, SPEED AND OFF-SET, THE LOWER PLATE IS EITHER CAST IRON OR A SPECIAL SILICON CARBIDE GRINDING WHEEL ( DIAMOND WHEELS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE) THE SPEED OF THIS PLATE IS ALSO ADJUSTABLE. PREFORMED BEADS ARE PLACED IN THE PERFORATED PLATE TO GRIND ROUND. THIS UNIT WILL PRODUCE ABOUT 80 BEADS OF HARD MATERIAL PER LOAD. FINISHING IS DONE IN A ROTARY OR VIBRATORY TUMBLER. HOLE DRILLING IS DONE WITH AN ULTRASONIC DRILL. (ABOVE) PREFORMING IS DONE BY HAND ( FOR LARGER BEADS) OR WITH A EDGE GRINDING MACHINE (BELOW).

THIS UNIT CONSISTS OF A LARGE HORIZONTAL SPINNING SILICON CARBIDE WHEEL . THE CUBES BOUNCE AROUND ON THE SPINNING WHEEL WHICH GRINDS THE CORNERS OFF. . IT TAKES ABOUT 10 MINUTES TO GRIND A LOAD. THIS IS AN ALL STAINLESS STEEL MACHINE WITH A 20,000RPM FOOT CONTROLLED VARIABLE SPEED HEAVY DUTY MOTOR.
HAS HEATED RECIRCULATING WATER AND A TEMPERATURE INDICATOR. PERFECT FOR FLEX SHAFT AND DIAMOND DISC CARVING AND GRINDING.
The basic unit comes with a flex shaft, and disc adapter. There is a handpiece on the flex shaft with a 1/4" capacity. There is a 3" diamond disc adapter for any hook and loop diamond pads. There is a flexible nozzle mounted on the unit for the water with a control valve, giving you the amount of water where you want. There are (8) three inch resin bond diamond discs of various grits to use for fine grinding to polish. There is also a light mounted on the shield.
A truly fine compact unit that meets all of a carvers needs.

This air turbine comes with a lifetime warranty on the stainless steel body of the tool and a 1 yr. warranty on the turbine assembly. The turbine assembly can be rebuilt making this the last high speed air tool you will need to purchase.
The airflow requirement is 2cfm @ 40psi to run correctly. The air pressure can vary from 20 to 60psi. An instructional DVD comes with the unit to show its set up, use and care. Accepts all high quality 1/16" shank Diamond and carbide cutters.
